My mission is to help you build connection and understanding with your child. You already have the resources within to be the parent your child needs. I’m here to help you tap into your inner wisdom and build on your strengths.

My Experience and Credentials

MA and BA; Early Childhood Education

I have an MA in Early Childhood Special Education from George Mason University and BA in Early Childhood Education from George Mason University.

Early Childhood Specialist

I am an Early Childhood Family Specialist with an Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement (ECMH-E®) from the Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health, an internationally recognized certification.

Circle of Security Facilitator

I am a Circle of Security Facilitator, an 8-week course based on 60 years of attachment research. This course focuses on how to build secure attachments with children ages 0-8.

Kazdin Method Facilitator

I am a Trained facilitator of the Kazdin Method® Parent Management Training, considered gold-standard, evidence-based intervention tailored for children aged 2 to 15 with a spectrum of behavioral difficulties.

My Values and Approach

  • Working together, we reflect on parenting practices you’d like to keep and what practices you’d like to change.

  • Children all seek to have connection and understanding from their caregiver. No child chooses to misbehave intentionally, they only wish to explore their world and remain in close relationship with their caregiver. What gets in the way is our own emotional response based on how we were raised/parented.  

  • Children learn their world through play. As adults. we lose touch with our playful side, which makes us lose touch with the #1 way children communicate with the world. Play-based interventions help adults to meet their child where they are at and build up strong connections, so when your child is ready to tell you what they’re feeling, you’re able to hear and understand them. 

  • I respect your family’s culture, values, and diversity. I strive to have cultural humility and seek to understand your experience in this world.
